Nuba

B2B channel and direct sales solved on a single platform, ready to scale.

Nuba

Sector: nutritional supplements · Focus: own digital channel alongside the shelf

Nuba is a protein brand with hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid and vitamins, no added sugar, that lives on the shelf of Sam’s Club, Walmart, GNC and Amazon. We built the own digital channel that runs alongside that physical presence, serving corporate clients and end consumers at the same time.

The problem

A brand already on the shelf faces one catch: the retailer owns the relationship with the shopper. Without its own channel, the brand doesn’t know who buys from it, can’t launch product without depending on the retailer’s calendar, and has nowhere to serve the corporate client asking for different terms.

On top of that, selling to businesses and consumers from the same operation usually means duplicating catalog, pricing and admin work.

How we solved it

  • Custom online store on Shopify for direct-to-consumer sales.
  • Corporate client (B2B) management, with its own servicing flow and terms.
  • Multiple payment gateways integrated, covering the payment methods used in the Mexican market.
  • A single catalog serving both channels, with no duplicated admin.

Benefits for the end consumer

  • Buys straight from the brand, with the full catalog available.
  • Mexican-market payment methods, cash included.
  • Access to product that isn’t always on the shelf of their nearest store.

Benefits for the business

  • A direct relationship with the shopper, with no intermediary owning the data.
  • Corporate channel served without running a parallel operation.
  • Launches that don’t depend on the retailer’s calendar.
  • One operation for two channels: growing doesn’t multiply admin work.
